Submit A Venue

We rely on mums, their partners, family, friends, owners of private organisations and other establishments to recommend, milkmates friendly venues. The website is run on a not-for-profit basis and offers all information free of charge.

The venues should, where possible;

• Welcome mothers to feed in any public area of their establishment
• Offer and make clear areas of extra privacy for mothers to feed their babies. This however should not be a toilet or a seat situated next to a nasty smelling nappy disposal unit in a changing room!
• Have staff who are committed to the milkmates ethos and if another member of the public complains, they will explain this commitment.
• Offer free glasses of tap water to breastfeeding mothers as it is thirsty work! (a medical fact).

To submit a venue we ask you to complete the simple form below. Once submitted, a venue may take up to a month to appear on the site. Don’t panic though, this is due to the fact that all our administration is done on a voluntary basis by busy mums!
